WoW!..
...since when did I lose the motivation to blog. It's almost been a month and so here i am trying to catch up. Sorry for all you faithful readers:) Takoda is 6 months Today!!! Everyone says they grow up so fast, I've now witnessed it for myself and say Amen to that!
Before the weather got too hot, Todd, Takoda and I hit the trails at Red Rock. Todd found a walking stick, Takoda I guess felt the need to show you in the picture:)
For sometime Takoda has been eating rice cereal and now vegetables and fruit. However here is the first time he tried rice cereal.
Guess What?...Our stake put on a 5k. The turnout was fabulous. I signed Todd and I up for the race. Just a way to try to get back in shape. Our ward's color was Red. So in the race as you passed people you would recognize which ward they were from. I decorated the back of our shirts...
So yep... we not only represented our Name but also the best team ever!:) So how did we do you ask?...well honestly we or should I say Todd did awesome. For a guy who hates to run for fun and barley practiced for the race, did great. We came in at 31min. I know i know not the greatest time for me but I was just happy i'm out there running again. This has been the 5th 5k i've done and i realized i miss racing and need to get in shape badly, but why is it so hard:(... ;)
Grandpa & Grandma's
Takoda and Arby (the dog) were best friends when we went to visit. Honestly I would look over at Arby, not knowing Takoda's Binky fell on the floor and I would see this! It was hysterical...This must have happened at least 5 times. And no he wouldn't chew on it, just sit there with it in his mouth. Kate FINALLY moved out!!! Haa haa just kidding Kate. No seriously having her live with us was a breeze and now we're missing her excitement around the house.

Today was the Day...
April 24th, 2004Journal entry: Today is my wedding day and i'm not nervous at all. I'm in the bathroom doing my Hair and makeup. I went to bed late last night and had to get up early, so i'm pretty tired. The whole "Getting Married" part hasn't hit me yet. I'm in in church clothes to enter the temple and i'm excited to go inside and FINALLY get sealed to my sweat heart. ......
So while i was reading this so many memories came back and I had said a ton more, and just smiled the whole time I was reading it:) ...I had forgotten that I had thought... you go to the temple in your wedding dress. So I guess that's what i meant by i'm getting married and it hasn't hit me yet, b/c i'm in my church clothes:)
I later mentioned in my journal more details about my experience in the temple. i also mentioned how i knew at this particular point in the temple I knew all the decisions I had made were the correct ones. I knew that my eternal companion had just agreed to stay with me and treat me with respect for eternity! Honestly being only 19 and deciding to get married is and was a big deal. I'm so glad I met Todd at the right time and married in the right place. He is the most fun person to be around. There is never a dull moment when i'm with him. He would do anything for me as i would for him. I'm so grateful to have him as my husband!
Happy Anniversary!
We were about to jump, but the some one yelled, wait not yet!

It Was Time...
it was finally time to be adventurous and ride the Zipper. Since being pregnant I hadn't been able to ride rides or ride the waves in the ocean (which by the way i can't wait for this summer). We went to the county fair and Kate & I couldn't wait to get on the rides!Oddly it was rainy this year at the Fair, but that didn't stop us! Todd had to work, poor guy but Takoda and I had a blast:)Easter
Takoda couldn't have looked more handsome in his outfit (thanks rachel)...It was a beautiful day! Adam and Rachel were able to come and hang out with us as well as Todd's brother Nick. We always love family time! So by time we were ready to do the Easter egg hunt it started getting dark, so we turned on the flood lights in the backyard and we all went hunting! Yes even the adults! Between Todd, Takoda and I, we made a steal:)

I Told Myself...
that i wouldn't post only pictures of my baby when we had one. I would still try to keep the post about Todd and I, and the baby. But as you can see I can't help myself. And really, i mean really are you wanting to hear about Todd and I all the time:) So Here is Takoda's cousin Angela. I posted pics of them before. But seriously this girl loves Takoda. Every time she sees him she so lovingly comes over and pats him or brushes his eye or gives him hugs and kisses. This pic is what she did on her own...I love that girl:)This past weekend we met up with Todd's family in Utah. It was so much fun (we missed you brandon & jill)...Despite the colder weather it was fun and is always fun to be around family. Sorry this isn't the best quality pic. But this is the 4th generation clan. Grandpa Bliss, Randy, Todd and Takoda. I took some fun pictures today. Takoda is such a sweet boy. He loves to smile and jump. Yep jumping i would say is his favorite thing to do. He sits up all by himself, but seriously i think he says to himself,"...mom seriously, why sit when i can jump."

Inspirational...

Sometimes we need to hear encouraging words, whether it's from our husband, family member or friend. And somtimes when we do hear it you might think to yourself ...hmmmm thanks, I needed to hear that.

Well I read this article given by President Hinckley. It is too good not to read. Give yourself a couple of minutes to read it, you'll be happy you did:)

I was pregnant and didn't know it:yet:) 1 year ago we were in California visiting Adam & Rachel for their baby blessing.

Todd has been working hard in our desert backyard to get a garden going before spring time. It's hard for him to find time between work and scouts and just wanting to relax, so Kate and I decided to help the other day. It is so hard...our rock dirt is so compacted and hard. So it truly is a work out...but what we're doing is digging about a foot down, going to border it and put some great soil in and start planting away. We'll keep you updated on our progress!

I came home from mutual one night and Kate had taken this picture. My little boy is trying to hold his own bottle...

you'll notice that he is such a little chunk...I love it:) It's so much fun to go in his room when he wakes up and he just looks up at you with the biggest grin! He then begins to try to talk to you asking you to ,"pick me up already and feed me!"... you may need to turn up your volume a bit, it quiet.

(don't you love how i'm already telling him to say I love you mamma or dadda:)

Before & After....

Takoda is 3 months and has been more jumpy than ever! Although he was pretty strong at 2...i decided to wait until he was 3mo. to put him in in his 'jump and go'. At first he was unsure of what he was in....but sure enough he found the glory of jumping...

While he was jumping I decided to hang some pictures. I could hear in the other room that his jumping was dwindling...so i would yell.."Takoda, I don't hear you jumping" and he was start up again. Well a couple of min. went by and I said it again and heard nothing, so I rushed in to check on him and this is what i found....

( i know it looks like i'm a terrible mother...but i swear it was about his nap time anyway:)
