26 mo. and officially Potty Trained...

I was determined to get him potty trained before baby #2 came. I started right before Christmas and thought...i'll just see how it goes. No pressure, lets just see. We had good and bad days, but within a week or so he finally got the peeing down.
Let's just say pooping was and is another story. I pretty much now know how our poor mothers felt when they used to use cloth diapers. Cleaning underwear is the WORST! Takoda is finally doing great on going in the toilet for #2 for now but it takes patience on my end. I'm just so grateful everyday is a new day, I get to refill my patience cantene and be a happy mommy as the new day begins:)

Time Capsule...
10 years ago, our young womens put this time capsule together, and we weren't allowed to open it for 10 years! Truly I never really thought I could or would actually wait 10 years to open it. But lo and behold I did and was eager to take a can opener to it. I vagly remembered a couple of things I had put in it. So I brought it to my parents house and made Kate and the whole family watch me open my capsule.
So here's what was inside!... My favoirte chapstick (kiwi strawberry), picutures of friends and volleyball, my favorite music group N*Sync, MY FIRST TRAINING BRA, haa haa don't ask me what I put it in or why I still had it at the age of 16:), A note from one of my best friends Grace, A New Year's Bell from one of the best new years dances, stuff on notes about my crushes and last a 2 pg. paper on information our leaders had us fill out about ourselves. It was fun to read...boy oh boy was i a flirt and a bit immature...but hey i turned out ok right?:) Anway it was fun and brought a lot of memories back! If your in YW this is a must activity!!!

29 weeks
Only 11 more weeks to go and i'm really going to have this little boy! I still feel great and forget most of the time I have this huge belly attached, and run into things or get stuck trying to get out of the public restroom stall:)
I'm not running anymore, although during Thanksgiving I ran close to a mile with Kate and I mentally felt great, but started cramping, so had to stop. But I've been so blessed to be healthy during this pregnancy and blessed that i've been able to stay active with Takoda.
Takoda knows that his baby brother is in my belly, but what he doesn't know is that one day he's going to come out!... and I think he likes that fact that he can just say baby brother is in mommy's tummy and not have to deal with anything else:) I'm nervous about balancing the two (because I always have a hard time with balance) but I'm hoping if I take it a day at a time it will be fine. So all in all, i'm excited and can't wait to meet little bliss boy!

This is what we woke up to...

It snowed! Yes in Vegas! We woke up at 9:00 (trust me it was a miracle that we both slept in)... but I think if we woke up an hour or two earlier, we would have had lots more. By 10:00 it had all melted. Takoda of course loved it, but didn't like that his shoes were wet afterwards.

I know I need to update you on the pregnancy... I go in tomorrow for my check up, so my next post look forward to a big belly picture:) Not a naked belly picture...just a pregnant picture of me:) haa haa

We're Back...
Now that was a nice break from blogging. But now i'm back and ready for the bloggin world again!
Our sweet Takoda turned 2 on Nov. 19th! He seriously is the love of my life...
I'm not sure if I mentioned we have a cat. Yes a cat! I'm such a dog person, but my "lovely" sister Kate has a friend who had kittens and offered Kate a kitten. Kate said,"Yes I know the perfect person who would be delighted to take of it for me while i'm in college"... (Todd) Yeah, not me but Todd. Todd loves cats and this little kitten was no different. So of course Kate doesn't claim it anymore (although she totally knows it's her graduation present)...
Takoda and "Mittens" have a love/hate relationship:) Takoda loves to try and snuggle with her, locks her in his room and tries to play with her and will even tease her enough to where she will playfully bite Takoda, which he doesn't mind...he just laughs. After much frustration, I said, "that's it, Mittens is getting declawed!" But then Todd found these acrylic nail things for cats. You glue them over the nail so their not able to scratch. Isn't she pretty:)It's Christmas Time
Takoda LOVES Christmas we've decided. Everything from the music to the lights. Look at these two handsome boys...are they father and son or what?!Sorry this pic isn't the best. But at Town Square every night at 7:00 it snows! Santa and Mrs. Clause also come out and wave to all the kids.
It's really not that cold here yet. So yes we look like we're in the season, but all of you who have real snow would laugh at the Vegans who are all bundled up:) I can't believe Christmas is almost here!!! We hope your all enjoying this Christmas Season & Hope to see you soon!

Just Wachin a Movie...
The other night, my parents were babysitting these two little guys. Mom walked into the living room and found Takoda sitting in Nahoa's lap both watching a movie;) For the next month or so John and his familia are here while he's on a semester break from Dental School. I'm so happy that Takoda will have some cousins to play with!

Girls Camp '10
We had the best time at Girls Camp this year! We went to Camp Heaton, it's right behind Cedar City about an hour over the Mt.
Gratefully the leaders were able to bring up their own trailers, so Ros and I totally took advantage by staying in a pop up trailer:) The girls loved staying in their tent!
There were so many fun activities. Zip line, Repelling, Shooting, Fishing and Horseback riding!
We had the leaders go on a ride while the girls were doing their SOLO time. The Wrangler said, if you want to go fast go in this group, if you want to go slow go with the other group. Only 5 of us joined the adventurous group:)
Being around the YW for a week was such a breath of fresh air. They are always so positive, hilarious and just fun to be around! (p.s. Megan thought we were doing a serious picture...I swear she's a happy camper:)
I made our shirts. Our Theme was Rock Solid in the Gospel. Each ward had a value color, ours as you can see was Faith. On the back are the girls name our theme and a scripture:)

And to add frosting to the cake, Our friends Alli and Chrissy were the stk camp cooks! We loved hanging out with them on our down time:)

Thanks for the good time GIRLS!!!
