You asked For It!

Let me explain. Todd loves to get his feet scratched. We call it a ticky. I usually use my nails which is his favorite option. However if Kate for instance doesn't want to touch his feet (which is 100% of the time) He goes and gets her a 'tool' a.k.a. a pen or anything he finds handy. Well all I can say is he asked and this is what he got... He had no idea until she was done.

Who Says You can't Enjoy the Snow in Las Vegas...
well sort of... Every year we make it up to Mt. Charleston a couple of times during the winter to enjoy the snow that doesn't make it to the valley. Takoda loved it most of all.We always have a blast sledding. I can't believe I don't have pictures from when Todd, Kate and I flew down a couple of steep icy hills. I have it mostly on video i guess. Anyway I'm loving Vegas weather right now its 66 degrees today and I'm loving that we are still able to enjoy the snow:)Takoda loved going down the little hills all by himself!

Todd showed him how to eat snow in his hand, however I guess Takoda thought this way was more logical:)

Sorry for the lack of blogging, I forgot my camera at my brother's house. Oh and starting in Jan. I'm so blogging a couple of times a week...well we'll see. Don't hold me to that;) Merry Christmas!

What? It's December?!

Where did November go?...It's time for a hair trim and it's time for a Christmas tree. Todd and I decided we'll do a real Christmas tree this year! Let's go in rewind for just a sec....

Todd's siblings came to the parents house for Thanksgiving this year. We had too much to eat, as always but loved the company of the Bliss'.

I think Takoda often wonders why I'm always taking pictures of him. If he could he would be rolling his eyes:)


The Parents
One night we all went out to eat. Dad ordered a chocolate shake. Mom wanted to share. I looked over and this is what I saw...eww gross I know...but I said hold that pose, let me get out my camera. Kate was like, "You would have a camera on you." (that was besides the point) Anyway cute pic huh?:)

Can you Believe it?Takoda will be 1 on Thursday! I have thought about how much life has changed so much this past year and I can truly say, I love every single day!

I can't believe how much motherhood makes me a cry baby. When I see starving children on TV...or any kind of heart ache concerning a child, I just want to hug Takoda so tight and never let him leave the house....k so i may be exaggerating a tad...But I'm so blessed to have a little boy, who shows so much love and makes me smile even when my eyes are half way shut in the morning:) Love You Takoda!

...No Easy Way Out (Rocky IV) to my 1/2 marathon (13.1 mi) run! This song helped get to the finish line! Results: 2:05, overall 222 place, age group 39th. My goal time was 2:10, so i'm pretty happy with the time. The race couldn't have been in a more beautiful place, we began on the top of Snow Canyon and finished at Snow Canyon high school. My running buddy, Heather was awesome,we didn't stop once. By mile 11 the emotions were high and I just wanted to cry b/c of this great accomplishment (and b/c of this song...haa haa i felt like Rocky working out). Anyway, once I saw my family at the end, the tears came....I soon realized no goal is too high to set for myself. I'm so grateful for Erika and Heather, for helping me train. Thanks girls! And sooo onto our next race?...we'll see... style="visibility:visible;">

what were you for Halloween? Takoda was a vampire bat, and I the black widow. Angela and Rachel as you can see were beautiful fairy's! Isn't he the cutest vampire bat?

The web on my face took me a good 1/2 hr. Seriously how come it took me so long?...I dunno but i finally got it down, so if you ever need a spider web drawn on your face just let me know...:)

We went to my parents trunk or treat as well as ours. Between the two Todd and I will be eating candy for weeks...poor Takoda... don't worry Todd lets him take licks of his suckers:)
