Shout Out to Kate

Kate is on winter break from school right now and let's just say it's always an amazing time when we hang out. Whether we're just watching TV or shopping(which she hates to do) we some how make it enjoyable. She also has been a big help in babysitting whenever I need her, So Thank You Kate!

Bad habit: well there's lots, but biting her nails and being maybe a little too blunt at times:)

Thee Best Mascara
I've been using this mascara for sometime now and LOVE it! I've had a handful of people ask what mascara I use...so I'll take that as a compliment:) Naturally, I have really short soft eye lashes, but this definitly helps enhancing them. I dip the wand in only once and get more than enough mascara for both eyes. Just thought i'd share this little secret of mine:)

Let's Make a Deal

During the holidays my brothers and I wanted to have some game show fun, so we headed off to the super nice hotel the 'Tropicana' (ok so hopefully you got my sarcasm) Anyway, Guess who won a Beautiful dining room set worth almost 3,000? Yeah not me....Adam and Rachel! The show aired TODAY!!! They were a blast to watch:) Oh and p.s. Kate and I went at an earlier taping a previous day and we're on t.v. pretty much the entire time, and that show should air sometime within the next week, so i'll let you know about that one as well.

3 little Monkey's swimming in the Tub...One fell off...

(okay not really) ... but you get the riddle:) These 3 cousins sure enjoyed playing together! Takoda LOVES little kids his age. What? I tell him, you're getting sick of me already?:(

How Blessed I am...

My heart just pours over the massive destruction that has taken place in Haiti.Reports say, "Indescribable amounts of blood is streaming into the waters"..."Bodies are rotting in the humidity and heat"... Thousands of people are helpless. Roaming the streets, not wanting to go inside any kind of building. There are still hundreds of people under boulders and debris that they simply can't get out of b/c the lack of equipment. They don't even have a fire truck or any kind of big machinery to help get these boulders off. The images and video's they are showing on CNN are so gut wrenching. The poor babies and children who are suffering and dying. How grateful I am, to be in safety, in a home and an environment that is at peace. Today I was reminded, that any problem I was facing this past week or even today, is so small and so simple compared to the battles being fought all over the world. My prayers go out to you Haiti.

You asked For It!

Let me explain. Todd loves to get his feet scratched. We call it a ticky. I usually use my nails which is his favorite option. However if Kate for instance doesn't want to touch his feet (which is 100% of the time) He goes and gets her a 'tool' a.k.a. a pen or anything he finds handy. Well all I can say is he asked and this is what he got... He had no idea until she was done.

Who Says You can't Enjoy the Snow in Las Vegas...
well sort of... Every year we make it up to Mt. Charleston a couple of times during the winter to enjoy the snow that doesn't make it to the valley. Takoda loved it most of all.We always have a blast sledding. I can't believe I don't have pictures from when Todd, Kate and I flew down a couple of steep icy hills. I have it mostly on video i guess. Anyway I'm loving Vegas weather right now its 66 degrees today and I'm loving that we are still able to enjoy the snow:)Takoda loved going down the little hills all by himself!

Todd showed him how to eat snow in his hand, however I guess Takoda thought this way was more logical:)
