I Will Miss You Girls!

I was recently released from YW's. I loved these girls from the start and grew a strong relationship with each one throughout the years. Thanks girls for the fun times and for teaching me more than you'll know.

Our little family went to Connecticut for our Summer Vacation

Our plane ride went very well for the most part. This is how it looked most of the time. Eli asleep in daddy's arms. Takoda on my lap and I trying to sleep, but we all know how that goes.

We visited CT's BeachEli loved spending time with Grandpa/Grandma
This sand castle (in Todd's home town) was built earlier this summer. It is the largest sand castle and is now the the geunis book of records.

Eli will turn 6mo on the 28th. He is a big boy. He's 19lbs which is 93% for his weight and in the 97% for his height. Oh my... what am I going to do?

We were so happy that Kate was able to come to Connecticut with us. NO not just because she was an awesome helping hand, but really it was so much fun to show her more of the East Coast. Todd and Kate are really good friends, so it was nice to go downstairs in the basement, watch home videos of Todd and now have a palet of reasons to tease him.

Fenway Park Who loves Boston?...We do, We do! This was heaven for us to visit Boston. Ever since Todd was a little boy he has been obsessed with the Red Sox, so he was pretty much in Heaven. We always love visiting Boston and it's history.

We miss you already Connecticut!

Eli will turn 5 mo. ...
on the 28th! Can you belive it?

A week after turning 4 mo. this little boy starting turning over on his stomach. Eli is so sweet and such a good baby. We all love him so much!
Kai (John & Azha's babe) and Eli are 3 mo apart. I can't wait for them to start playing together.

Takoda has lots of energy. And he loves to jump all around the house, including the couches. Well this is what happens when you let little boys jump and become rambuncious..You get a broken table and vase. Before I could see what happened, Takoda started crying and saying he was so sorry. "I broke it mommy, I broke it...Don't tell Daddy, Don't tell Daddy!"

So instead of disciplining him, I decided he disciplined himself. So I took a quick picture of his reaction and the mishap:)

Our Garden, is flourishing. We honestly can't keep up with all the wonderful produce Todd has planted. We've been eating lots of watermelon, cantaloupe & carrots lately.

Good Job Honey!

Terrible Two's
When I ask people, who've had a 2 year old boy, how they handled their 2's ...they say, You just wait until he's 3! Ahhhh Noooo.... What am I going to do? Takoda is such a sweet heart, as are all of our children, but why do I feel like he's wise beyond his years. Todd and I have to keep reminding ourselves that he's 2 and not 5.

We had a great weekend, but as you know, when kids get off their schedule life becomes a bit more challenging:) So after a hard Sunday (in Takoda's eyes) I took about 5 -7 pictures of him acting out and showed him as a way to calm him down. It worked for the time being. He sure keeps us on our toes and I find myself having to be creative in all discipline areas.

My brother Clint just sent us a parenting book, so far I've enjoyed it's tactics and see a change in just the little time of using it. I'll keep you posted!

Our 4th of July

We have sccared takoda of fireworks. Over memorial day they were so loud that he now hates watching them. So this is Takoda hiding in his stroller. He made us drape a blanket over the stroller:)Riding the Ferry (in our car) from Balboa Island to New PortWe took off to the lovley CALIFORNIA! Oh how much I love Adam/Rachel living there. It's a short gettaway. We enjoyed New Port Beach and Balboa Island. Next to Adam's house is a fun city water park, where we were able to spend most the day on the 4th.

Todd had just came out...Can you see his foot?

I officially am terrible at diving boards. I pretty much think too much at the cordination part when jumping, so I just stick to jumping off;) Todd on the other hand had fun doing his usual tricks.

Hope you had a great 4th as well!

Eli turns 3 mo.!

Oh how we love our little Eli!

Takoda is doing much better these past couple of weeks of being more loving towards him, rather than saying "mommy look at me, i'm hitting Eli"...

Eli's eyes are still blue, but look brown here. I'm guessing they'll be hazel.

Takoda and Mommy

We spend so much time together, i'm surprised he isn't sick of me yet:) haa haa, but last night he wasn't feeling so well. We discovered it was heat stroke. Takoda was burning up like crazy. But after some sleep, lots and lots of water, meds, and a cold bath, this is how he woke up:) I secretly love it when he feels sick, b/c we love to snuggle and he does what I say haa haa.

Grip Saver! You see this phone? Well it's mine, and the case (which has a grip to it) saved it's life today. Yes, it's life. I couldn't find my phone anywhere and then it hit me... I left it on the back of our Vitara when I was done talking to Kate. Todd, decided to take that car to work today. I called his store (which by the way, he answered the phone so professionally, I found it cute) anyway, he said he'd go look out on the car...I gathered the boys and we were about to get into our car to look on our street for it, when he called and said, "It's still on the back of the car!" Did I mention our car has a spare tire on the back and that's where I placed it...on top of the covering of the spare tire. So as you can see this case literally saved my phones life and pretty much mine too:)!

Dogs

To say Takoda loves dogs is an understatement. Big ones, little ones...short, fat, doesn't matter. Well we've discovered one glitch, he's allergic.

So far it seems he's allergic to the big dogs. Smaller dogs seem to be the hypoallergenic breed and so he's fine with them. But...this is what it looks like after touching and playing with his favorite animal. Poor kid, who knows maybe it'll fade as he gets older...right? Lets hope.

And my cute little Eli. Oh how much I love this little guy:)
