Our Month of May

 Yes...people do camp in the desert:) My bro & family came in from Cali and had the grand idea of camping. You know i'll go with it, but it's not my favorite thing in world. I do have to say though, that trips like these are a bit more enjoyable when you see how much fun your kids are having!

 Wild horses were everywhere! Kate slept outside on a cot, and she heard them breathing near by most of the night. During the day, my dad was taking a little nap. A horse thought it was a good idea to sniff him and almost eat his hat. It was a fun sight to witness. 

 It's my 28th Birthday!!!

 Todd decorated the house so pretty! This is just one shot of how creative of a job he had done. I really had a great birthday! 

 For my birthday, it was between rollerskating (yes I think that would be fun) or this skyzone! Skyzone won the vote... Let's just say it's the absolute best exercise. We were sweating profusely within the first 10 min.

Umm Dad fell asleep during my party, so we had a little fun with him:)

 We'll miss you Isoua's

 One of our favorite families are moving to Samoa, We sure will miss them!!! I said goodbye tonight, it's a sad day:(

Oh Takoda & Eli...

 Our little house is never quiet nor do you ever get your space when these 2 wake up. I do however LOVE watching them play, (yes that's a sword on Eli's back).  It amazes me that at 15 months Eli picks up so much from Takoda and can actually keep up with the kid. I am grateful they have each other to play with, it makes my day a little bit more enjoyable:)

Family Fun

We visit California often being that Adam and Rachel live there. Honestly it's the best living so close to a beautiful state. Adam has a couple quads which we enjoy riding! This is the view we reached before we turned around and headed back.

So Angela's shoes fell off and who better than the gentleman himself slide on her princess slippers for her!:)

Happy 1st Birthday

I have to say, Eli loved his birthday. He was so happy and loved having Takoda and I sing Happy Birthday to him ALL day long. He loves to wave and enjoys attention on him:)

Trouble

Yes these two certainly keep me on my toes. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Takoda says he wants to be a NINJA when he grows up.

Takoda was playing with Eli in the backyard, When I heard Eli crying I hurried out to hear Takoda explaining that he placed Eli on his space ship ( a slide we have) He lifted it trying to launch Eli in the air.

Poor Eli experienced his first black eye. It had been hit on the same spot on the same day and his poor eye said that's enough.

Eli is the ninja and Takoda the other bad guy...

We love getting out and going to the park whenever we can!

Projects

I've been busy here and there doing some fun house improvement projects. This cute table I bought at a garage sale for $1. And the dark cherry table is one I've been contemplating throwing it out but i'm glad I didn't I'm happy with the final result...

Pintrest

Pintrest has a way of telling me I've got a lot of cleaning to do. I never knew you could deep clean your dishwasher. I was dying to see what my dishwasher looked like after I took off certain filters. This is picture is after it's clean...

This is all the hard water that had been built up, I scrubbed it off into the sink.

I unscrewed the filter on the bottom and this is what I found...Yuck!!

Wait... Which lane am I suppose to bowl in?

yeah i guess the bumper lanes didn't matter too much with this bowl. The other day my friend and I went bowling for Takoda's first time. He did pretty well. He loved carrying every one's ball and handing it to them, (yes a strong little boy he is). Takoda loved watching his ball return. Who knew something I really don't like... he ends up loving. Guess we'll be going a lot more often:)

For Christmas, Azha made these two boys pirate pajamas. She did such a great job. The shirts say "Its a pirates life for me" They love wearing them!

Tape Anyone?

Having family/cousins around this past month has been so much fun! As always Miya and Takoda are M.IA. together and when they come to show you what they've been up to it's usually a good laugh.

It's always nice to get a jab in the rib, grabbing at the face and crawling on the body when your trying to relax.

We went to the movies and found this star wars cutout. Who wouldn't have taken this pic of Kate.

At the end of our Christmas we all decided to head to California for one last hooray...We spent all day at Ikea one day and the other day outside. It was 78 degrees. Guess I didn't need my boots and jackets.

Eli loves stealing Takoda's blanket when he can get a chance. Takoda as you can see is sleeping, and Eli took his chance:)

We Started Preschool

Okay, so the preschool I was going to send him to didn't work out. I decided to teach him til the end of this school year. He's doing great so far! Good Work Buddy!
