I was pregnant and didn't know it:yet:) 1 year ago we were in California visiting Adam & Rachel for their baby blessing.


Todd has been working hard in our desert backyard to get a garden going before spring time. It's hard for him to find time between work and scouts and just wanting to relax, so Kate and I decided to help the other day. It is so hard...our rock dirt is so compacted and hard. So it truly is a work out...but what we're doing is digging about a foot down, going to border it and put some great soil in and start planting away. We'll keep you updated on our progress!

I came home from mutual one night and Kate had taken this picture. My little boy is trying to hold his own bottle...

you'll notice that he is such a little chunk...I love it:) It's so much fun to go in his room when he wakes up and he just looks up at you with the biggest grin! He then begins to try to talk to you asking you to ,"pick me up already and feed me!"... you may need to turn up your volume a bit, it quiet.

(don't you love how i'm already telling him to say I love you mamma or dadda:)

Before & After....

Takoda is 3 months and has been more jumpy than ever! Although he was pretty strong at 2...i decided to wait until he was 3mo. to put him in in his 'jump and go'. At first he was unsure of what he was in....but sure enough he found the glory of jumping...

While he was jumping I decided to hang some pictures. I could hear in the other room that his jumping was dwindling...so i would yell.."Takoda, I don't hear you jumping" and he was start up again. Well a couple of min. went by and I said it again and heard nothing, so I rushed in to check on him and this is what i found....

that you could sing? Or maybe you can..but I wish i could open my mouth, and the most amazing sound would come out. Yeah... i'm pretty much one of those people you sit behind at church... and smile to yourself b/c they think they sing well. :) So these girls, called Rin on the Rox have been discovered on youtube. They began their singing career by singing in the bathroom for the echoes... If you've been watching Ellen you have seen them a couple of times, b/c of their popularity on youtube. Lookie Lookie...Look at who we went visit! Yep Adam/Rachel. We love that their in California. How can you go wrong visiting california. The weather was gorgeous and we had a blast. Angela is getting so big. She's walking and is smiling all the time with her scrunched up nose:)

Takoda loved seeing his little cousin...or should i say the other way around. Angela was so cute with Takoda. Here is the process of them getting along...

HAppY BIrthDay Kate! okay not really, but b/c Kate wasn't down here on her birthday, she asked Rachel to make her a cake. Didn't Rachel do an awesome job! She has taken classes and has done so well with each course, the cake was so delicious! p.s. Kate's birthday was in December...yeah 2 months later!

My good friend Mari came home to visit. I've known her since 1st grade and also roomed with her at BYU-I. She just moved to Washington, so poor me I won't be able to see her as much. Our babies were due 2 weeks apart, but she ended up being 2 weeks past her due date. So Takoda and Sadi are now a month apart. But it's so much fun having such a good friend with a baby around the same age.




As you can see our little one is growing up way to fast. The little guy weighs 16lbs now. He will be 3 mo. on the 19th. He is also in the 90 percentile in his height and 60 percentile with head size. He is smiling all the time and is such a good baby. He coo's all the time, which makes it so fun. He really doesn't cry unless he needs his sleep. Did anyone have the obsession of checking on their child 1000 times either during the day or night while he/she was sleeping? I really need to calm down:) The other day I was feeding him and I swear Takoda can talk sometimes...I was feeding him and he didn't want anymore milk so he yelled HELP ME!!! I looked over at my friend and she said did he just yell help me? crazy i know...also sometimes it sounds like he says MaaaaMmm... (mom). Did anyone else have a talking infant? haa haaa

We all new she would be eliminated, but........really are any of the girls right for Jason? You know who i did love?...Stephanie. Although she wasn't right for him either, she truly deserves someone who can handle all of her accessories..haa j/k but she does deserve someone special and she'll get him cause she's beautiful! K, so I'd like to see who you think Jason will pick? There is a poll on the top right hand of my page. So who will it be???? I'm saying Jillian, although i would like to see melissa, but i know jillian is older and tends to fit him a bit better. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

I was on the phone with my friend for about an hour an 1/2 one night. It was time to go to bed...so i came down stairs to get the boys and this is what i found:)

So as some of you know Kate my sister has been living with us while she is on track break from school in Idaho. She has been a huge help and as you can see has become best buddies with our little one.

so the picture below will illustrate this next statment. So as you know babies spit up, but because kate has become best friends with Takoda he decides to share his appreciation by spitting up on her. Now I have told a couple of people about this and they just laugh and say ohhh poor kate. But it's not until they witness it for themselves that they truly see what we mean. Seriously after I'm done feeding him I'll hold him for a good while or we'll put him down...but it's not until kate gets him that he decides to do the duty! So the other day he had already spit up 2 times on her...and when it was the 3rd time I just had to grab the camera instead of a wash cloth:) LOl!!!
